Career details: Offshore Technology Conference (OTC)
During Miki Tolle's tenure at Information Handling Services, Inc., her marketing responsibilities not only covered the entire industry-standards product line, but also the telecommunications marketplace and the vertical petro-chemical arena.
Miki Tolle's marketing efforts in the petro-chemical marketplace resulted in one of the most successful and outstanding tradeshows during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in May of 1998 in Houston, Texas.
The success of the show was pivotal to the theme developed by Miki Tolle and her team, which was centered around the well-known Texas mantra of big. With the theme in mind, the team developed and created a fully integrated precense titled Source for Standards, as Big as Texas. This theme was repeated across booth graphics, t-shirts, oversized water mugs, brochures, and handouts. The theme was also used to brand the hourly game-show competition held in the booth throughout the show.
